Ditch the Diet in a Day Itinerary

  9.30am – Arrival and Welcome Drinks.

Introducing you to a tasty smoothie to show how easy it is to start the day boosting your health with your five a day.

  10.00am – Intro and Exercise Benefits.

We’ll introduce ourselves properly – why we’re both so passionate about our mission to get people off the diet bandwagon.

Then we’ll talk briefly about the benefits of exercise and how you can do it – what’s suitable for you, what you like and how you can fit it in. We’ll find you an exercise that you enjoy. Because if you don’t enjoy it, you’re not going to do it!

  10.30am – Work It Out.

A fun workout showing you some simple aerobic style training with easy equipment like a skipping rope and hula-hoops! We’re only doing a minute for each exercise, so nothing too gruelling. The purpose of this part of the day is to get everyone familiar with movement that is simple to do. Don’t be worried, it will be fun and manageable for everyone.
You’ll leave with the exercise plan knowing that you can do it because you’ve already tried it with us.

  11.00am – BREAK.

  11.15am – Nutrition.

This will teach you the basics of what you should be eating. Mythbusting common ideas out there in the slimming community. Why you need certain food groups and why cutting them out can do more harm than good. Portion control and a simple way to work it out without weighing everything.

  12.30pm – LUNCH.
We’ve been so lucky to have the Head Chef at the venue create us a special, delicious, healthy buffet lunch especially for this workshop to show you lots of different food choices and simple ideas of what you can eat that will delight your tastebuds!

  1.00pm – Goal Setting.

Find out what your barriers and challenges are to weight loss – what’s stopping you and what you can do to overcome them. Then with this knowledge, you’ll set SMART goals to take away and focus on when you’re at home to keep you going.

  2.00pm – Mindfulness & Meal Planning.

Why it’s important to take care of yourself and why it’s important to pay attention to WHAT, WHY and HOW you eat. We will be talking all about emotional eating, which is a common struggle. You’ll understand why you self-sabotage all diets. And why it’s important to really nail down your mindset before you can start to live a healthier lifestyle.

Plus, you’ll put together your own personal meal plan for the week ahead using our meal plan template. You’ll only have to do a food shop and you’ll be prepared for the week ahead. You’ll see how easy it is to make a plan that includes food you love, that will keep you energised and motivated to continue!

  3.00pm – Q&A Session.

This is your time to ask us anything! If you’ve been stuck before or have found something hard to overcome in the past, now is the time to get our advice. You can pick our brains on anything we have covered throughout the day.

The Venue

Our workshop will be held at the beautiful Chimney House Hotel in Sandbach (CW11 4ST) where we will be treated to a lovely relaxing day with gorgeous surroundings and tasty treats throughout.

Lillie is a qualified Nutritionist and Personal Trainer and Nicola was a successful consultant for the UK’s leading weight loss organisation, Slimming World.

We are fun, we don’t take life too seriously and we eat chocolate, drink wine and have lazy days BUT we also truly believe in balance.
